Q195 is a low-carbon steel grade widely used in China and other regions, known for its versatility, good weldability, and moderate strength. The steel is often supplied in coil form after hot rolling, making it suitable for various manufacturing processes.

Key Features & Properties

- Chemical Composition:
  - Carbon (C): approximately 0.12%  
  - Other elements: generally low levels of Mn, P, S, etc.

- Mechanical Properties:  
  - Yield strength: around 195 MPa (hence the name Q195)  
  - Tensile strength: approximately 270–410 MPa  
  - Good ductility and formability

- Surface & Dimensions:
  - Typically comes in coils of various widths and thicknesses, depending on customer requirements.  
  - Surface: usually rough due to hot rolling, suitable for further processing like coating or painting.

- Manufacturing Process:  
  - Produced through hot rolling, which involves rolling the steel above its recrystallization temperature to achieve preferred dimensions and properties.
